Shorter is faster. The transition is included in each image’s duration and capped at half that duration. Instant cut has no animation.

Playback Schedule

Enable schedule

With scheduling off, images play all day. When enabled, playback follows the selected days and hours.

Time zone

Choose the display’s local time zone. Daylight saving time is handled automatically.

An earlier end time means overnight playback, such as Friday 10 PM to Saturday 2 AM.

Outside scheduled hours

Standby support depends on the display. The Pi stays running so playback can resume on schedule.

Display Devices

Each device uses its own ID and secret key and downloads only its assigned images. Playback settings are shared.

Publish a playlist, then assign its version below. Only devices set to Follow latest receive every new publication. No new downloads and Disable access both preserve images already cached on the device.

A device is marked offline after 3 minutes without a report. HDMI and player heartbeats cannot confirm the physical TV picture.
